Terms of service

Last updated:

1. Who we are and acceptance

These terms govern the use of milecargo.net and the consulting services of Mile Cargo LLC, based at 2219 SE 23rd Rd, Homestead, Florida 33035. By using the site, submitting the quote form or hiring a service, you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What we do and what we don't

Mile Cargo LLC is a private company that advises cargo truckers and handles trucking filings, permits and taxes, and company formation. In addition:

  • We are not a government agency and we do not speak on behalf of one. Decisions and official fees belong to the agencies.
  • We are not a law firm or an accounting firm. The content of the site and our guidance are general in nature and do not replace the legal, tax or accounting advice of a licensed professional for your particular case.

3. Information on the site

We do our best to keep the content clear and up to date, but trucking regulation changes frequently. The site may contain errors or information that is no longer current. Before making an important decision, verify the data at the official source, or ask us.

4. Quotes and services

The quote is free and does not obligate you to hire us. It is based on the information you give us and may change if that information changes or if data is missing.

A service is hired when you accept the scope and fees in writing, including by email or WhatsApp message. We only handle the filings included in what you accepted.

5. Fees, payments and refunds

  • Our fees and the payment method are stated in the quote, before we begin.
  • Official fees (from federal, state or local agencies) are charged separately, unless the quote says otherwise. Each agency sets and collects them, and Mile Cargo cannot refund them.
  • Refunds: if any applies to our fees, it is governed by what was agreed in your quote or contract.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Give us truthful, complete and up-to-date information and documents, and tell us if anything changes.
  • Authorize us to file on your behalf when the service requires it.
  • Respond in time when we ask you for data or documents.
  • Comply with the laws and the obligations of your operation (renewals, filings, inspections, insurance and so on), except those you expressly hired us to handle.

Mile Cargo is not responsible for delays, rejections or penalties resulting from incorrect or incomplete information, or from documents we did not receive on time.

7. Results and timelines

Each filing depends on the decision of the agency that reviews it. We do not guarantee that a filing will be approved or within what timeframe. The times we mention are estimates and may change for reasons beyond our control.

8. Partners and third-party services

For what we do not do directly (for example, insurance, dispatcher, factoring or trucks) we may put you in contact with partner companies. They are independent companies: your relationship, your contract and your payment are with them. Mile Cargo is not responsible for their services, prices or decisions.

9. Use of the site and intellectual property

The texts, design, logo and other content of the site belong to Mile Cargo LLC or are used with permission. You may view them for personal use, but may not copy, reproduce or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

By using the site you agree not to use it unlawfully, not to submit false information or another person's information without their authorization, and not to try to breach its security or extract its content with automated tools. Links to third-party sites are a convenience: we do not control their content and are not responsible for it.

10. Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mile Cargo LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of income, opportunities or business. Our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the fees you paid us for that service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If a disagreement arises, write to us first: our intention is to resolve it directly with you. If that is not possible, the courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida will have jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
